About
Experience:
I have conducted individual, family, and group therapy with adults, adolescents, and children at private practices, veteran’s hospitals, in- and out-patient hospitals, schools, jails, prisons and university clinics. Adopting a holistic approach toward wellness, I integrate a developmental perspective with techniques from CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, ACT, MI, CPT, and PE to address the symptoms and goals of my clients.
Goal:
While my curiosity about the human experience initially motivated me to study cognitive psychology, my clients continuously inspire me with their courage to change their lives. My goal as a psychologist is to help my clients develop and strengthen their coping skills to make positive changes possible. To assist in my clients’ growth, I use a compassionate collaborative approach utilizing humility, responsivity, and flexibility.
